Project Rider C# IDE support

This is a brand new C# IDE from JetBrains. Please contact with JetBrains team to make support it on launch. Rider is going to be most powerful IDE for C# development. Unity definitely should support it ;)

JetBrains have made a Unity editor plugin for Rider integration available here:

https://github.com/JetBrains/Unity3dRider

We will be looking into providing out of the box support for Rider, once it is officially released and stable.

    Just pulled the latest plugin from https://github.com/JetBrains/Unity3dRider ( master, 2016.11.28 076b05ad40a64e550253be48a87f9782679e550a ) and it works now! Thanks God and JetBrains! ;)

    I cannot watch the content of generic collections i.e. List<string> during debug sessions.

    It displayed number of items correctly, but only a warning instead of content: "<Unknown type> This request is not supported by the protocol version implemented by the debuggee."

    Is this a known issue? Are there something to be done with it?

    The shining future was so close, but now I have to fall back into gray and dull MSVS present.. (

    A thousand times YES! Guys, you have to make this happen. JetBrains is wiping the floor with other IDE's out there.

    This is what happens when monodevelop and visual studio/resharper would have a baby. Currently test-driving it. It seems very stable. This is gonna be my favourite. Cross-platform IDE for mono and .NET! And if it's going to be integrated with unity out-of-the box then this developers life is gonna be perfect ;)

    My main barrier to using Unity effectively is the poor included editor on Mac. Supporting Project Rider would fix this.
