Play particle system from an animation

Be able to play/stop a particle system from a key frame in an animation. And/or specify number of particles to emit on a key frame in an animation without the use of a script.

    Although I couldn't get this to work at first, I talked to more people and did finally get it working. Unfortunately I'm not sure what I changed. Someone suggested making a parent GameObject to the particle system and enabling and disabling that in the animation instead of the particle system itself.

    At first that didn't work for me either, but I think that was the result of an earlier experiment where I had the emission turned off. Once I turned that back on, it seemed to work fine.

    But then I tried another clip where I do enable and disable the particle system in my animation clip and it actually works fine. In my test, I do leave my particle system on for 2 seconds as part of the animation and I notice when I disable it that all the particles that are still displayed at that point do disappear, so make sure you leave it enabled for long enough to see.

    One reason I'd like to see this is for things like VRChat that doesn't allow scripting. It does allow animations from the built-in animator though, so I'd like to be able to control particle systems from that.
