PixelPerfect 2D Mode

Please enable a Possibility to Render Pixelperfect Graphics.

Alot of Developers still use Pixelart for their Graphics.
Pixelart will never be too old for people to use (actual titles proof this).

Currently using Pixelart creates nasty Seams and flickering between the Tiles. This happens because of the Sprites and Camera working on Subpixel level.

There should be some kind of Checkbox somewhere in the project settings to force the rendering to work pixelperfect so all those artist can use Unity without trying to build not so efficient workarounds...

Currently this is really a pain and a big struggle even if you set up everything right...

    I don't understand this request. This feels like an issue that is easily solved. You only need to look at all the shipping pixel art Unity games to see plenty of developers seemed to have solved this without Unity having the add any features.

    If this truly is an problem I think this issue will never solve it because it is far too ambiguous. It's effectively "Make 2D Pixel art better". What does that even mean? Someone needs to make a very long and detailed blog post demonstrating each of the issues and asking for solutions. Once the solutions are documented whatever is remaining could then be asked for here.

    As it is there is really no actionable issue here.

    3 years and iver 5k votes later and this still isn't implemented. Meanwhile Unity keeps chasing Unreal instead of focusing on their own strengths.
    The 2D features promised in the last cycle still aren't here.
    Very disappointing.
