Holographic remoting from built app

Platforms

When developing for Microsoft hololens, there is an option to use holographic remoting when playing from the editor, but it is not possible to build a final app which uses the holographic remoting. This feature would be very beneficial for all hololens developers, since it would enable us to use the computing power of a desktop PC for an app that runs in hololens.

Perfect. We are very glad. However, current version of Holographic remoting, which is available in editor, has some limitations, e.g. in speech and voice commands. Will be possible to use all features of Hololens and Holotoolkit in built-in-app version of Holographic remoting?

You'll be happy to know that this feature will be available in Unity 2018.2. The beta should be available sometime around the end of March
