Editor: Dark skin theme in Free available in options.

It seems petty not to include the dark skin theme in Unity Free. Better would be to have it not as default. Migraine sufferers like myself would appreciate the option of having the darker look sometimes.

    This light UI is making really making me wonder if I should switch to Unreal Engine because as someone that is just learning game development I think that it's unfair and petty that you can't change the theme. Seriously whos idea was that? And as a new user, no it is not an incentive to upgrade to pro it just puts me off because I have to pay for something so stupid that should be there by default.

    I think it's a shame that Unity is choosing to completely ignore the community on that issue. An official should at least post a reply and say whether the company is considering it or not. That's the least they can do - communicate back.
    Everybody knows that you don't buy the paid versions just for the dark UI (unless your an idiot) but rather for the added services Unity provides, so what's the big deal in opening up the Dark UI for everybody to enjoy.
    What happened to the "make the customer happy" value? seems like its being replaced by greediness.

    FOR ANYONE MODIFYING UNITY.EXE WITH THE METHOD POSTED BY SEAN-LEBLANC, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THIS WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS WITH UNITY!!!

    I had used this method to enable the dark theme in Unity. While I was following a tutorial on Cellular Automata for procedural cave generation, I was running into continuous IndexOutOfRange errors when the script tried to references values set for the height and width of the map. Both of these values are set with public fields Height and Width in Unity.

    When I explicitly defined these values in my script, the map loaded correctly without any errors, but going back to public fields and passing values with Unity continued to produce the same error. Finally, desperate for any kind of solution, I opened Unity.exe in a hex editor again and reversed Sean-Leblanc's method to return to the default skin, and, lo and behold, suddenly my map generator was working just fine with public fields defined in Unity.

    I highly recommend AGAINST using Sean-Leblanc's method if you want Unity to function correctly.

    I paid for Unity 4 pro, Android pro, and to extend the license to Unity 5 and now I cant have this feature.. I expended more than 3500u$s on Unity and what I get on Unity 2017 beta? a visit to my oculist.. this feature should be in free version.

    This makes the creators of Unity look really stupid. Thanks for the work around, Sean-Leblanc. Works perfect. You saved me from running to alts. Seriously, Unity devs... you're ridiculous.
