Editor Camera FOV adjustable

Working with a fixed FOV of 60 in the editor is fine when dealing with large outside areas but for crammed in-door scenes it can sometimes get in the way of having a good overview over the scene.
So it would be realy handy somethims to be able to change the Field of View for the Editor Camera as well.

This is insane that there is still no way to control this. We're working on a pseudo-isometric style game and would like a way to match our scene view with the game view to make it easier to tell what will be on-screen. This should seriously only take like 5 seconds to fix.

    Hello all -

I have been unable to use the Editor Extension posted by TAKAYUKI_UTECH. The menu item with the sliders appears correctly, but the control icon do not show up. And most importantly, the Scene view becomes greyed out the moment the extension is installed.

    Engine version : 2017 2 0f3

    Thank you for your help.

    @TAKAYUKI_UTECH
I don't have the option to adjust the field of view after importing the Github package.

    (i) The scripts are showing in the Project window

(ii) I can access the Edit-> Scene View FoV Settings dialogue

(iii) The Scene view header bar does not show the FoV button as shown in the Github .gif animation and I've tried all of the keyboard shortcuts and they don't have any effect on the FoV of the Scene view.

(iv) One thing that did happen is that there was a slight change in the field of view as soon as the package finished installing. I assumed that the change was a default that was set by the script.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why this isn't working.
The version of Unity I'm using is 5.60f3 and I'm using Windows 10.

Hi, I've uploaded experimental Unity editor extension for controlling Scene View's FoV.
    https://github.com/t-mat/UnitySceneViewFovControl

You think it's not enough for your demand, but hope this eases your frustration.

I would like to see that editor script. What I've seen thus far is all based on 'undocumented apis' and may be out of date.

"2016 and still no sight of an option/slider to adjust scene view FOV... I wonder what is keeping Unity's UX team from improving simple stuff like this... "

i think the fact that they dont have any UX team.
