We have a lot of tilemaps in the scene (over 60 in this case.. we keep them all in one scene, and then export them to prefabs, to be loaded dynamically at runtime). With this many tilemaps, it's very difficult to select the desired tilemap to paint on, from inside the tile palette. The "Active Tilemap" list seems to be either unsorted, or sorted in the order the tilemaps were created.
Either or both of the following would make life a lot easier for this workflow:
- Sort tilemaps in the Active Tilemap list alphabetically
- Activate the tilemap that is selected in the scene
