Change font size in Unity Editor

Editor

Please add a setting under Unity: Preferences to increase the font size for the text in the Unity Editor Panels and Tabs. Text recognition is more demanding cognitively than graphics so it would not only help visually impaired, but also tired 20 year olds with perfect vision! Thank you.

I'd like to second this. On my setup the editor main window is readable, but the Console isn't. How hard can it be to use a mono-spaced font and/or to allow the user to set a font size?

4k Screen -> it's impossible to read the UI-text in unity. Every console output is a pain.

I used to think of this as an annoyance, but my displays over the years keep increasing their DPI making the text smaller and smaller. Also recently I had eye allergy problems and it made working very difficult. I appreciate larger fonts sizes now. (Maybe I'm getting old. >.< ) This gets a vote. Thank you Unity team I love being a Unity developer.

Shame on you devs, if you can't even fulfill this simple request after 5 years. It's really horrible to use such a small sized fonts. Thinking of shifting to some other gaming engine....

It's not only the size. From what I can see and my programming experience, Unity uses libfreetype to render editor UI text. And for some reason they turned on FULL hinting. It looks atrocious, when you use libfreetype, always add option to change hinting amount or at least set it to slight as Ubuntu does by default. Funny fact: Ubuntu's DE is called Unity but doesn't make this childish mistake with UI.

Just bought 27 inch 1920x1080 Display to make Unity more usable. Games, 3d view and some other things look pixalated, but Unity left no choice :(

Over 2,000 votes and still no bother to do this? I understand there's a lot of features to work on and core elements to make progress on, but c'mon.

Brand new to Unity, evaluating between Unity and Unreal Engine. One look at the Unity interface makes me go "Hell no!" I am not going to live with that for many hours a day.

All the text in the interface is blurry and hard to read on my vanilla 1080p. screen.http://www.planetinaction.com/download/Unity_blurry.png
