Change font size in Unity Editor

Editor

Please add a setting under Unity: Preferences to increase the font size for the text in the Unity Editor Panels and Tabs. Text recognition is more demanding cognitively than graphics so it would not only help visually impaired, but also tired 20 year olds with perfect vision! Thank you.

ALL MY 10 VOTES GO HERE!! Unity team, this is beyond stupid. So much so that I have no words.
FIX THIS! And if it really screws with the Interface base code from 10 years ago, then hard-code it for heaven sakes -- just a point size larger (like from 6 to 7 LOL) would help, dumbnuts.

Just throwing in my vote for larger text ... crazy that this topic is from 7 years ago.

Given my 10 votes. I'm a Mac user and this is a must have UI feature. It's incredible it has not been addressed yet.

I tried the DPI scaling and it was atrocious, the rest of windows and even unity was just too huge and ugly and I had no space to work with. The fonts in Unity were indeed much more readable, but it was not realistically usable in that state.

I mainly only need it in the inspector, myself.

    I agree with FLAMINGGEAR.

Using the native Windows DPI scaling beats the purpose of using a 2k/4k monitor because the scaling affects EVERYTHING, not just the fonts. For instance if I scale from 100% to 125%, I do get bigger fonts but I also lose a much needed real estate, which is not what I want.

It is really a shame that in this day and age, Unity does not support a simple feature such as "font size".
I think this feature should be as important as the nested prefabs.

Whilst I appreciate that we can use Windows10's scaling, I don't want to *have* to affect the scaling of my other apps in order to improve my usability of Unity, as I have pretty much everything else in a state I'm happy with. Being able to customise fonts within Unity itself would be much appreciated.

Yeah, this is crazy. TAKE A LOOK AT BLENDER. They do this just fine. We can't use new laptops with Unity unless we buy low end displays. Absolutely stupid.

As of 2018.2 the Unity editor supports Windows DPI Scaling which is per monitor, OS-level preference. This way you can scale up the font size and the whole Editor UI.

In order to keep accuracy in the GameView you can leverage the "Low Resolution Aspect Ratios" option. https://docs.unity3d.com/2018.2/Documentation/Manual/GameView.html

Instructions from Microsoft support page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3025083/windows-scaling-issues-for-high-dpi-devices

    Windows 10

Select Display > Change the size of text, apps, and other items, and then adjust the slider for each monitor.

    Earlier Windows systems

Right-click the application, select Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and then select the Disable display scaling on high DPI settings check box.

This is disgusting. For those of us PAYING for Unity every freaking month, this should have been something that we had LONG LONG AGO.
