Camera and character controllers examples when creating new project

Recently i had an opportunity to play around the Unreal Engine and i was positivly suprised by the built in features that are: Camera for a 1st person controller and 3rd person controllers, but the most important part here is that the camera won't fly through the walls. I think Unity should provide an option when creating a new project to chose what type is our game going to be and provide us working examples for the camera and character input(Not through the asset store*) or at least add a component or something for a camera, so it doesn't fly through walls and obstacles.
