Add Hot-Join Support to Network Lobby

Networking

-

-

The current implementation of the NetworkLobbyManager prevents players from joining a game in-progress. Actually this is a bad design choice because many multiplayer games need both a lobby and the possibility to join a game in progress (for example, take Left 4 Dead). Just because a game has a lobby this is no reason that it does not need hot-join.

So, please add hot-join support to the network lobby by default and make hot-join prevention optional.

I absolutely agree. There has been so much talk about this missing feature, and I'd see much sense in it, too:

This is really a needed feature!
Lots of games allow mid-game joining, even though they have a lobby
